OPPORTUNITY PROFILE

Trinity Fellowship is prayerfully seeking the Lord’s discernment in appointing the next Pastor to lead our church. We are presently a congregation of 130 members. Average Sunday morning in-person attendance is between 50 and 60 persons, with additional on-line participation. Our property and building are debt-free, including a 300 seat worship center, ample classroom and administration space, full gymnasium, and commercial kitchen. CANDIDATE PROFILE

The Senior Pastor of Trinity Fellowship is appointed for an indefinite period of time by the Board of Deacons in accordance with the Church By-laws. This is a full-time position. The Pastor will lead and support the church congregation and all of its ministries with the support and counsel of the Deacons. The Pastor will have a preaching and teaching ministry as his primary responsibility, clearly expounding and practically applying God’s Truth to the church congregation and community. The Pastor shall also serve as the chief administrator and be responsible for the daily management of the general church program through supervision of the pastoral and office staff. The Pastor will be responsible for the continued development of lay leadership and promoting God’s vision for the church.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ordained minister with preferred 5 years pastoring experience, although high-quality candidates with less experience who demonstrate potential will be considered.

  • Bachelor or Advanced degree from an accredited seminary and/or Divinity school, or equivalent experience.

  • Devout personal faith in Jesus Christ, able to lead a Full-Gospel, Spirit-filled congregation.

  • Must be called by God to serve in the ministry of the church.

  • Demonstrated proven administrative skills.

  • Able to commit full time to this Pastoral position effective starting June 12, 2022.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND CHARACTER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Bible and strong religious conviction.

  • Ability to show impartiality.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with examples furnished upon request.

  • Ability to show compassion for struggles and concerns of others.

  • Ability to relate to a wide diversity of congregants.

  • Strong support of Global Missions, Community Involvement, and Christian Education, with the ability and desire to work with and enhance the effectiveness of existing ministries in these areas.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Provide Spiritual leadership to each member and attendee of Trinity Fellowship. Duties include but are not limited to: Preparing weekly sermons, preaching, teaching, leadership, and conducting regular and special scheduled worship services.

  • To properly interpret scripture in sermons where content is developed and presented personally and originally, with proper attributions where needed.

  • Provide care and counseling to church family and attendees, assisting them in crisis situations. Visit the sick, comfort the broken-hearted, welcome new births, and anything requiring a Pastor’s presence.

  • Officiate at special services, such as believer’s baptism, baby dedications, weddings, and funerals. Attend church events and related events in the community.

  • Assist in church financial matters, overseeing management of the church’s ministry, supporting and managing the current staff. Hold regular staff meetings to coordinate church ministries, ensure that church facilities are maintained and functioning properly.
